Position: Business Development Manager
Qualification:

  • Education – MBA or Master’s/Bachelor’s in Economics (w requisite experience)
  • Experiences— 8-10 years of work experience with minimum 5 years’ experience in managing business
    development; managing key accounts; managing PPP projects and/or private sector development work
    with NGOs; sales operation; Marketing in FMCG/Agencies.
  • Knowledge and experience in working on Private sector development and rural market development
  • Interest/experience in Social Businesses from NGO sector preferred

I. Job Responsibilities (indicative):

Business development & Project Implementation: 80%
 Revenue and Project
 Responsible for ensuring JITA s service revenue
 Responsible for meeting JITAs service KPIs
 Develop strategies to place products in accordance with JITA’s social objectives
 Responsible for bringing new partner, donor and corporate client
 Responsible for maintaining and growing sustainable relationship with existing partners and clients
 Develop partnerships based on product knowledge and demand
 Ensure time, quality and budget for project implementation
 Lead project-based implementation team/s
 Ensure EXCELLENCE in EXECUTION and client satisfaction.

Research, Knowledge and Strategy
 Lead research and understanding of the BOP consumer base
 Understand social impact of products in JITA basket of goods
 Develop push/pull strategies for sales
 Responsible for leading Proposal Development Team
Impact Measurement: 20%
 Responsible for collecting and managing JITAs overall impact data.
 Responsible for conducting social impact study through Monitoring & Evaluation and use of existing
software.
 Ensure timely and quality social impact report to its multifaceted stakeholders.
 Ensure high quality of project execution
 Monitor Impact of products and sales

II. Reporting dimension:

N+1: CEO
No. of direct reports: Key Account Manager(s), Proposal Development Manager, Business Analyst & Impact
Measurement Officer

III. Working Condition& Stakeholders:

Based at HQ with frequent travel in field.
Stakeholders: Department Heads, External Stakeholders of JITA.

IV. Qualification:
